ITINERARY (6DAYS 5 NIGHT) CHIANG MAI & CHIANG RAI THAILAND

Itinerary:
This trip was planned by my friend. She ask me to join her family because not enough person. So, most of the contents I take from their website. I just chance the programme as per we go.

1st DAY

Upon arrival one of their friendly representatives already waits for us to transfer our hotel. We’ll have the rest of the day. An evening out by having a Khantoke Dinner
The customary northern Thai style of eating with food being served in large platters at low tables while you sit on mats on the floor. As you enjoy your meal, let yourself be entertained by a selection of northern cultural performances including the charming Fon Lep (Thai Finger Dance), Ram Dab (Thai Sword Dance), Fon Thiean (Thai Candle Dance), and Ram Wong (Group Dance).

2nd DAY

After breakfast at hotel, we will be transfer from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. Enjoy a rest stop along the way where we get to soak our foot in Hot Spring. Then drive to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet. Stand at the confluence of the Mekong and Ruak rivers while your guide points out the borders of each neighbouring country. KAMI SEMPAT KE LAOS MARKET. 600BAHT. afterward, continue to Move on to Mae Sai, spend a bit of time in Thailand's northernmost town, a well-known trading post where you can explore the local market along the main street. Then, we rush to the land of the giraffe women - Long Neck Village for visitation. You'll have some time to explore the village. Learn about its cultural traditions and customs, including the brass rings the women wear around their necks as you wander around. After a long day of sightseeing, check in at Chiang Rai for a good night's rest. I lost what kind of the restaurant that we having dinner. Seriously. That was great.

3rd DAY

After breakfast at hotel, check out Chiang Rai Hotel and visit the beautiful Wat Rong Khun (White Temple). Unlike most centuries-old Buddhist temples in Thailand, this temple's construction began in 1997 and isn't expected to be completed until 2070. Admire the buildings painted pure white, as well as the interior murals of Superman, Batman and Neo from the movie The Matrix - all designed by Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat.
Afterwards, travel back to Chiang Mai. proceed to Bo Sang Village, visit local handicraft centres paper umbrella making, silk, cotton, jewellery, woodcarving and silverware .Check in, having dinner and rest. Ready for next stroll at Wualai Walking Street Saturday night market.

4th DAY

After breakfast at hotel, will begin our journey at one of the popular Elephant Camp. Then, continue visit the exquisite Wat Phra Thad Doi Suthep Temple which can only be reached by climbing the steep 300 steps of the winding dragon or the tram car (Optional for cable car ride). Enjoy a spectacular view of Chiang Mai and its en roaching frosted hill. Move on to visit Orchid Farm and Butterfly Farm. And straight to the biggest Sunday Night Market Walking Street - Tha Pae Gate for local products & dinner.

5th DAY

After breakfast at hotel, it was a rest day. So we plan go to Art in paradise having lunch at Central Airport Plaza Chiang Mai and back to hotel. At the night, we out at PLOEN Rudee Night Market at Chang Klan Road for local products and dinner.


6th DAY
After breakfast, return home from Chiang Mai.
